On this project, the team repaired and repointed the majority of the church's boundary stone wall with the correct lime mortar mix to ensure it will weather and look as it did when it was originally built. Internally, the entire ceiling was stripped and re-lathed with hand-split oak lathes and then replastered with three coats of lime plaster. This is exactly the same process that would have been used when the church was first built and ensures the heritage of the building remains.
